New launch condo guide 2021: The Singapore homebuyer’s watchlist

By the looks of it Singapore’s property market seems undeterred by the global pandemic, economic recession and whatever else comes our way. Local and foreign homebuyers and investors continue the buying spree, despite private property prices surging by 0.8% in Q3 2020.

As we roll into 2021, here’s a look at some of the most anticipated, ambitious and luxurious new launch condos that are slated to hit the market.

The Reef at King’s Dock by Mapletree and Keppel Land

This condo is all set to change the face of Clarke Quay. While not much has been released about this integrated development, we do know that the riverside site will house 700 apartments, a hotel, serviced apartments and retail spaces.

Flanked by the Singapore river and low-rise Clarke Quay mall one side and Fort Canning Park on the other, residents of this new condo will be treated to unblocked views. It will have a direct connection to Fort Canning MRT while still being walking distance from Clarke Quay MRT. The developers will also build an overhead pedestrian bridge for easy access to Singapore’s historic Fort Canning Park.

15 Holland Hill by Kheng Leong

Holland Village is seeing a surge in alluring developments and we’re adding 15 Holland Hill to the list. Peak Opal, a unit of Kheng Leong – developers of MeyerHouse and Nassim Park Residences, is offering a stunning new freehold condo with just 59 units, with rare formats such as the duplex maisonettes.

19 Nassim is the first new launch in five years in this area – perhaps Singapore’s most prestigious enclave with Good Class Bungalows and embassies for neighbours. Envisioned by the award-winning Soo K. Chan of SCDA Architects, this Keppel Land development will house 101 units and sits on the edge of Singapore’s Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Another coveted address is coming to District 09. CEL Development, a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Corporation, launched Kopar@Newton on a large parcel of land on Kampong Java Road.
