New launch condos 2020: the building blocks we’re watching

You must’ve heard the news: when it comes to property, Singapore is trending. The Little Red Dot holds a strong position as one of the top global ultra-prime residential markets, and was recently declared a top real estate investment prospect for price appreciation in 2020 by the Urban Land Institute and PwC. So if you’re in the market for a top-of-the-line apartment, here’s our (growing) list of new launch condos for 2020.

The Avenir by GuocoLand

With Martin Modern condo well underway at Robertson Quay, GuocoLand is doubling down on D9 with the launch of The Avenir, round the corner on River Valley Close. Built on the site of the former Pacific Mansions, The Avenir will be enviably close to the riverside amenities and lifestyle as well as Killiney Road, with Orchard Road within walking distance. Designed by ADDP Architects, it promises to be a luxurious green haven on the city fringe.

Leedon Green by Yanlord Land Group and MCL Land

When it comes to swanky new launch condos, every other road leads to District 10. One more for the list is Leedon Green by Yanlord Land Group and MCL Land. A highly anticipated new launch, Leedon Green will sit on the former Tulip Gardens condo site. Located on Farrer Road, this new high-end condo has d’Leedon, Leedon Residence and the affluent Good Class Bungalows (GCBs) for neighbours. The development will see seven 12-storey buildings with units ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 bedrooms.

Dunearn Gardens by EL Development

Coming soon to District 11: a luxurious new launch condo by EL Development (who are currently giving us Pullman Residences just round in Newton). Having bought the site en bloc for $468m, the plan is for a 34-storey project comprising 348 units in this prime location close to sought-after schools and amenities.

Sims Drive Condo by Hong Leong and CDL

Hong Leong and CDL are building a brand new condo along Sims Drive and we just can’t wait to find out more. Details are expected to be released soon. It’s located only 400 metres from Aljunied MRT and will bring a next-level class of condo to the Geylang Planning Area.

Van Holland condo by Koh Brothers

One Holland Village has a neighbour. The plot across the road from Holland Village MRT was snapped up by the Koh Brothers for $120.43 million to be transformed into a boutique luxury development. With just 69 exclusive units ranging from 495 sqft to 1,991 sqft, the Van Holland condo will be kitted out with premium fittings and facilities. Like a two-storey high waterfall, sky pool with an insane view, wine cellar and private lifts for 16 units.

333 Thomson Road Condo by Tuan Sing Holdings

Tuan Sing Holdings is expected to talk about its new District 11 development soon. We hear this new launch condo has three 5-storey blocks with 90 residential units, complete with all the condo amenities. When it comes to the location, 333 Thomson Road Condo is accessible yet tranquil. That means it’s perfect for young families. This soon-to-be-launched condo in Novena will be close to Orchard Road as well as schools and hospitals.

New Katong Park Towers condo by Bukit Sembawang Estates

Bukit Sembawang Estates procured the coveted residential site of Katong Park Towers back in 2018 and we expected to hear more on this new launch condo in 2019. While we wait for more details, we know two enticing things for certain. Firstly, the new Katong Park Towers condo will offer unobstructed views of the city thanks to all those landed houses surrounding it. Secondly, it will be a stone’s throw away from the Katong Park MRT that’s under construction right now.

Verticus condo by Soilbuild Group

City fringe living in a complete resort-like build, Verticus by Soilbuild Group offers up convenience, boutique luxury and lush escapes. Its 162 units going from 441 sqft to 2,045 sqft include one to four-bedroom units as well as penthouses. When completed, the new development in Balestier will boast three sky terraces, three pools and other wellness features.

Jervois Privé by Midas Land

Four-time President’s Design Award winner Yuen Hong of ipli Architects was commissioned by Midas Land to envision an urban oasis in District 10. The acclaimed architect took visual cues from Tanglin’s colonial black-and-white bungalows. The result? An equally timeless residence with just 45 luxurious units. Ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms, these units spread across 549 sqft to 1,389 sqft. Sublime design aside, Jervois Prive‘s condo facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, jacuzzi pool, BBQ pit, dining pavilions and more.

One Holland Village by Far East Organization

District 11 has a high-end development on the line and sold over half of its units (there are only 87) on launch day in Oct 2019! As of Jan 2020, 75% of all apartments at Neu at Novena have already been snapped up. The property houses just 2 to 4-bedroom duplex units across 17 floors.

Let’s not forget condo facilities that include a 25m lap pool, sky terrace, starlight infinity pool, sanctuary and more. The trifecta – a prime location, renowned local developers and proximity to the MRT, schools, hospitals – makes Neu at Novena an enticing buy.
