Here comes the turnaround: in August, Singapore posted its best new home sales result in 11 months – representing a 12% gain on the same month last year, and a strong sign of recovery from the depths of the Circuit Breaker.

Homeowners, investors and real estate moguls… some of the most exciting, ambitious, and luxurious new developments are taking shape. So whether you’re looking to upgrade that home office or swoop on an opportunistic investment, here are the new launch condos of 2020 to watch.

Penrose condo by Hong Leong and CDL

This highly anticipated new launch in District 14’s burgeoning Aljunied area might just see September top the record new home sales performance in October. Holland Village is seeing a surge in alluring developments and we’re adding 15 Holland Hill to the list. Kopar@Newton by CEL Development

Another coveted address is coming to District 09. CEL Development, a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Corporation, launched Kopar@Newton on a large parcel of land on Kampong Java Road. Cairnhill 16 by Ocean Sky and Tiong Seng Group

We’re expecting launch dates of Cairnhill 16 any day now – it’s promising to be a sophisticated new residence along a quiet cul-de-sac in District 09. Developers Ocean Sky and Tiong Seng Group are offering 39 freehold apartments ranging from a sleek 2br at 775 sqft to the elegant 4 bedroom apartment at 1,744 sqft. Van Holland condo by Koh Brothers

One Holland Village has a neighbour. The plot across the road from Holland Village MRT was snapped up by the Koh Brothers for $120.43 million to be transformed into a boutique luxury development. With just 69 exclusive units ranging from 495 sqft to 1,991 sqft, the Van Holland condo will be kitted out with premium fittings and facilities. Like a two-storey high waterfall, sky pool with an insane view, wine cellar and private lifts for 16 units.

The M by Wing Tai Asia

The buzz is strong with this one. Over the launch weekend in February, Wing Tai Asia’s The M condo sold about 70% of its units. Prime city-centre location, proximity to MRT, competitive pricing and good amenities are only a few of the reasons everyone’s flocking to this Middle Road dev.

Peak Residence by Tuan Sing and Rich Capital

Tuan Sing Holdings together with Rich Capital have released the name of their anticipated new development at 333 Thomson Road: Peak Residence. We understand this new launch condo in District 11 will have three 5-storey blocks with 90 residential units, complete with all the condo amenities. When it comes to the location, 333 Thomson Road is accessible yet tranquil, close to Orchard Road as well as schools and hospitals.

New Katong Park Towers condo by Bukit Sembawang Estates

Bukit Sembawang Estates procured the coveted residential site of Katong Park Towers back in 2018 and we expected to hear more on this new launch condo in 2019. While we wait for more details, we know two enticing things for certain. Firstly, the new Katong Park Towers condo will offer unobstructed views of the city thanks to all those landed houses surrounding it. Secondly, it will be a stone’s throw away from the Katong Park MRT that’s under construction right now.

Hyll on Holland by Koh Brothers and FEC

Clavon by UOL and UIC

With a winning bid of $491.3 million, developers UOL Group and United Industrial Corp (UIC) snagged the Clementi Avenue 1 site under the Government Land Sales (GLS) program. While we wait for more information on this project, we do know it’s expected to house 640 luxe units across 40 storeys.

The Landmark by ZACD, Sin Soon Lee and MCC Land

Once complete, this new launch condo in D03 is bound to stand out. One-North Gateway site by Hong Leong Holdings and Mitsui Fudosan Co

The Zaha Hadid master-planned township One North is set to have more residential options. In 2019, URA released the One-North Gateway site (5,779 sqm area) and received nine bids. Hong Leong Holdings and Mitsui Fudosan Co’s joint venture TID Residential came in with the top bid of $155.7 million ($1,001 psf ppr). The upcoming mixed-use development is expected to offer 165 residential units in the heart of the business park.

Eden by Swire Properties

It’s unmissable. Designed by acclaimed British firm Heatherwick Studio, Eden by Swire Properties will nest only 20 ultra-luxe 3,000+ sqft homes across its 22 floors. These ‘one floor, one apartment’ homes all come with four palatial en-suite bedrooms and distinctive shell-like balconies.
