The power and prestige of the latest Ferretti Yachts 860
In 1968, brothers Alessandro and Norberto Ferretti and Norberto Ferretti founded the Ferretti company as a small boat manufacturer. Demonstrating their proficiency over decades, the Italian outfit would eventually turn their boat crafting talents towards luxury yachts.
The marque’s latest vessel is made for traversing the European summers in absolute style: the Ferretti Yachts 860. Measuring 26.95m, the motor yacht is an entirely new model fully built in Italy, with deliveries commencing in 2023.
It features cutting-edge design and technology solutions for the ultimate ocean experience. In its flagship specification, the 860 is equipped with twin MAN V12 engines capable of delivering a top speed of 32kn.
Seasoned boat designer, Filippo Salvetti, crafted the exterior architecture, while the interiors are by IdeaeItalia. Options include the Classic finish – darker, warmer hues with distinct contrasts – or the Contemporary – lighter and cooler colours experimenting with tones of white.
The 11sqm foredeck features a forward-facing oversize double sofa with a central handrail and built-in glass holders. There’s also a sofa bed with a reclining backrest, taking in near-360-degree views. The vessel can accommodate 20 people, including up to eight guests across four staterooms. There are also seven heads (bathrooms) and two crew cabins.
Guests will enjoy impeccable luxury features for both relaxation and play. The garage is large enough to house an inflatable boat alongside two jet skis, which can be launched directly into the water by lowering the platform. Up top, there are dining tables, a bar to port, and for the first time on a Ferretti yacht, the option of a jacuzzi.
