The new Custom Line Ferretti Navetta 38 is a chic superyacht with classic style
Rare are the pairings as inseparable as Custom Line and Ferretti. With a standing fleet of more than 300 yachts sailing in the world, the collaboration has produced some of the most coveted bespoke yachts. Each of these vessels are known to exhibit a sense of classic luxury with distinctive Italian styling.
The duo’s Navetta stands as a titan of the yachting world and for good reason: they’re beautifully crafted and are designed specifically for comfortability and efficient cruising. Earlier this year, the first-ever Custom Line Navetta 38 would sail the seas at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona, Italy. With its introduction comes a chic and functional superyacht that enjoys peerless continuity in its interior-exterior living spaces.
Designed and built at the Marquee’s famed shipyard, the yacht is a joint venture between the Piero Ferrari-led Ferretti Group Product Strategy Department and Engineering Department. Measuring 38.76 m in length and 8 m in the beam, with a displacement hull and a total volume of 299 GT, the Navetta 38 offers quality, volume and outstanding seagoing performance all around.
What came out of it, of course, is a yacht that maximises all available area on its four decades, allowing details to shine in the open sea. On the main deck, a large master suite of over 431sqft ensures complete privacy, with separate crew and guest wings. Four guest cabins on the lower deck can also accommodate a total of 10 people on board and seven more crew members, if need be.
Ferretti relied on the services of Filippo Salvetti and ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel for the exterior-interior styling of the flagship unit. Custom Line Atelier, on the other hand, provided pivotal interior design consulting, working closely with the owner to create a faithful portrait of his vision.
The Navetta 38’s well-appointed spacious interior is enhanced by huge floor-to-ceiling windows. This only accentuates the stylish progression of the components within, creating perfect harmony between external and internal spaces. The exterior, meanwhile, exudes a timeless cadence, following essential and elegant sculptural lines that are further elevated by generous glazed surfaces.
