The Sunreef 100 Eco superyacht redefines luxury cruising experience
Talks of environmentally sound changes in the yachting world persisted for years. Yet, it’s only been a few seasons since yacht designers have consciously dedicated their designs to sustainable practices. When the Sunreef Eco yacht line first surfaced in 2019, the eco-conscious boats would take the wider cruising industry by storm.

After the 15.2-metre Tiril yacht, the Sunreef 100 Eco superyacht has become one of the manufacturer’s flagship boats. And clients decidedly wanted more. Recently, the renowned designer of luxury sailing and power multihulls would build two more Sunreef 100 Eco superyachts. These eco-responsible catamarans have driven the brand’s sustainable revolution. The Sunreef 100 Eco provides an emissions-free cruising that exudes quiet luxury and ingenious green solutions.
Both catamarans will feature composite integrated solar panels, which maximises solar power generation. Composite-integrated solar panels are built into the yacht hulls and bimini roof. Apart from this, the custom-engineered batteries and state-of-the-art electric engines ensure that the owners smooth e-motoring experience. This is only complemented by the yacht’s hydro-generators, allowing for a healthy supply of green energy throughout the voyage. All these contribute to a significantly reduced Co2 footprint.
It’s a catamaran that doesn’t compromise on features, as well. Of note, in particular, are the invisible aft garage that can stow a jet ski and a collection of water toys, as well as the spacious Ocean Lounge. From its drinks bar and spa pool to beautiful sunbeds, this area is a marvel, dedicated to sunning, lounging, and watersports. It also offers access to additional storage space for watersporting gear and the like.
These boats have altered the perception of the traditional sailboats. They epitomise silent cruising pleasure while simultaneously showing the industry the potential of cleaner alternatives.
