The best of the Singapore Airshow 2024

The 2024 Singapore Airshow enjoyed quite the return to public life. After six Covid-interrupted years, during which time exhibitors pulled out and general access was limited, the latest edition broke records for attendance and showcased a new era of aviation innovation.

Held in February, Asia’s most influential international aerospace and defence exhibition welcomed more than 1,000 participating companies and 60,000 trade visitors, with the show’s thought-leadership platform, AeroForum, facilitating discussions about a changing aviation leadership and sustainability.

The more than 30 displays of jets and helicopters from countries around the world presented a rare chance to experience these extraordinary aircraft. Among them were the latest models from many of the biggest players in private aviation, as well as some dazzling debuts, including the Dassault Falcon 6X – which only just launched in November – the Bombardier Global 6500, Cessna’s Citation Latitude, the Gulfstream G600, and Chinese manufacturer Comac’s C919.

“This overwhelming response signals a renewed momentum driving the sector forward,” said Leck Chet Lam, managing director of the Airshow organiser Experia. “It certainly re-affirms Singapore Airshow’s role as a catalytic platform worldwide.”
