Christopher Guy hosts the Boucher & Co exhibition at its flagship showroom in Singapore

Christopher Guy welcomed another exceptional Boucher & Co exhibition at its flagship showroom in Singapore from June 27 to July 18. The leader in world-class bespoke furniture design remains one of the most sought-after brands for its peerless craftsmanship.

A true master of the craft, David Boucher’s rare, fully functional sculptural forms have long fascinated the most discerning furniture collectors. The designer would receive a warm reception during the opening festivities, which celebrated some of Boucher & Co’s landmark pieces over the years. The evening also presented Christopher Guy’s new lines of branded wardrobes and ‘CG Cucina’ kitchens, along with a special showcase of dazzling furniture and decor pieces by Boucher & Co.

Boucher walked the guests through the collection, revealing hidden elements in each piece. The Pyramid Chest of Drawers, for example, showcased the ingenuity of the designers with its “brick” storage box concept.

Equally remarkable is the Dragonfly Champagne Vault, which comes with a dragonfly sculpture at the top that serves as the handle. The top-half opens to reveal a fully functioning champagne vault. This allows for easier storage, making for an exquisite centrepiece for any collector’s home.

Boucher has created quite a name for himself in the bespoke furniture space, having worked with sultans, heads of state and captains of industry, as well as brands like Rolls-Royce, during the company’s 37-year run.

Boucher’s contemporary and Art Deco sensibilities continue to explore the ways his team of artisans can elevate furniture by experimenting with function and form. By using precious materials and rare timbers, the group looks to reflect its clientele’s style, taste and status.

As the ‘creators of the world’s most fabulous lifestyles’, Christopher Guy’s showroom in Singapore occupies a full floor of the Citibank building on Orchard Road. Here, buyers should find a wide-ranging collection of sumptuous chaises, lacquered hardwoods and of course its signature voluptuous designs.
