The interview: Franck Muller’s Nicholas Rudaz on bold new novelties and a look inside Watchland

Founded in 1991, Franck Muller quickly made its mark with bold designs and technical brilliance, creating icons like the Crazy Hours and Vanguard. Today, the brand remains proudly independent, designing and producing its timepieces at Watchland, a sprawling estate overlooking Lake Geneva. For CEO Nicholas Rudaz, in-house production, creative freedom and a readiness to challenge tradition are what inspire Franck Muller to keep evolving. In this conversation with Boulevard, Rudaz shares the stories behind the brand’s most iconic designs, talks about its latest novelties, and explains why craftsmanship, colour and character remain at the heart of Franck Muller’s identity.
