Leica’s latest gallery and showroom launches in Singapore
German luxury camera brand Leica introduces its newest and largest flagship showroom in Southeast Asia, located at the historic South Beach Quarter in Singapore. The site doubles as the Leica Galerie exhibition gallery, showcasing exceptional works of photography and visual art.

Currently, it features renowned Italian photographer Emanuele Scorcelletti’s Elegia Fantastica, an exhibition that features black and white photographs deeply inspired by his Italian roots. Each one depicts the places that have shaped Scorcelletti as an artist and reflects his evolving connection to them over time.

The grand opening of this flagship showroom coincides with the centennial celebration of the Leica I, the pioneering 35mm camera that revolutionised photography with its innovative photographic applications and compact format. It was first introduced at the Leipzig Spring Fair in 1925 and the first mass-produced standard portable camera.
