Grohe Spa Aquatecture installation: A fusion of water and architecture
Known for its bespoke yet sustainable kitchen fittings and bathroom solutions, Grohe, through its sub-brand Grohe Spa, unveils the ‘Aquatecture’ installation at the World Architecture Festival (WAF). The showcase underscores the significance of water in design and highlights its impact on individual health and well-being.
Celebrating the Latin phrase “Salus per aquam” (health through water), the display features a curated selection of Grohe Spa pieces from its iconic collections. Each piece is designed to offer sensory spaces focused on reflection, revitalization, and renewal.

Some of the pieces featured in the showcase are part of the Grohe Spa Icon 3D collection, including the 3D metal-printed bathroom faucet. This is a three-hole deck-mounted model with an integrated vanity tray and crafted using state-of-the-art technology. It has meticulously honed organic shapes, making it an exclusive centerpiece that elevates sophisticated bathroom spaces.
The showcase also highlights the Grohe Spa Rainshower Icon 3D, another piece from the same collection. This 3D metal-printed showerhead mimics the silhouette of a tree branch and features an ultra-thin stainless-steel profile. Its design transforms the water flow into a mesmerising optical illusion.
