Gardens of Eden: Into Phuket’s new luxury tropical arcadia

As the Phuket property market transforms into one of the most robust in the region, it welcomes its latest luxury wellness residential and hospitality community along beautiful Bang Tao Beach. Gardens of Eden reflects Thailand’s tropical splendor in many ways. With it comes a breezy arcadia of grand proportions.

The US$ 315-million development sits on about 30 acres of rich landscapes. Its lush, tranquil character, of course, can be traced to the vision of world-renowned architect Martin Palleros. The director of Thailand-based Tierra Design translated the spirit of the surroundings into a project worthy of the ‘Eden’ name.

Boasting Balinese design solutions all around, the designer borrowed mostly from the Balinese architectural identity, which integrates natural textures and appreciates distilled palettes. These add up to structures, living spaces, and pathways that mimic the calming sensation of the island’s topography.

Built together with developer Amal Group of Companies, the complex will have more than 560 units and will be divided into two segments: Eden Residences and Park Residences; all of which are surrounded by a wealth of gardens, water features, woods, as well as wellness and fitness centers. Exotic waterfalls, business centers, playgrounds, world-class restaurants and cafes, and community parks also add to the peaceful atmosphere.

Common areas, on the other hand, will be carefully curated by Singaporean award-winning design studio White Jacket. Taking cues from other properties in its portfolio (such as Rosewood Hotel Ningbo and Kimpton Naranta Bali), it supplements a unique touch to Gardens of Eden’s various facilities. This only further positions the brand as a premier global luxury wellness destination.

Likewise, its amenities allow residents to enjoy the lavishly appointed setting with the services to boot. Most of these will be handled by GOCO Hospitality, a company once recognised as the ‘Best Global Spa Development Group’ by World Luxury Spa Awards. It will oversee the operations for the wellness center, spa, gym and mind and body studios, vitality pools, yoga salas, meditation gardens, and organic farms, among others. Pricing for presale units start at THB 7,755,300 or AU$ 333,367.

Gardens of Eden is set for completion in late 2026.
