Poise and prestige: The Ferretti 780 is an elite flybridge
Ferretti 780 would reemerge at the Singapore Yachting Festival recently, reminding the public of its status as one of the most stunning vessels in its class in Asia and beyond. One can’t help but notice its sharp and refined character out in the Marina Bay waters. Ferretti envisioned it as the ultimate flybridge for the true helmsman for a reason.
First released in 2017, Ferretti 780 would get a refreshed look four years later. Measuring 24.01 metres and a draft of 1.94 metres, the handsome flybridge one sees today enjoys much sportier lines, accentuated by hints of chrome all the while maintaining a classical exterior character.
In terms of the interiors, its restyling was a result of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Ideaeitalia. Rich wood, sumptuous fabrics and bespoke furnishings adorn every corner, all the more made beautiful under natural light. The Italian shipyard also offers the vessel in two interior ‘moods,’ either in the contemporary or classic feel, for further customisation.
Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the main deck’s indulgent salon can easily fit about eight to nine people while its four cabins with the owner’s suite allow for the utmost comfort at all times. Each stateroom also boasts its own ensuite. A new galley provides multifunctional spaces for dining and entertainment, as well.
Its technology and performance are just as impressive as its craftsmanship. The yacht possesses a fiberglass/grp hull with a CE certification class (A) and can navigate the seas rather seamlessly. Powered by a pair of 1,550 mhp MAN engines, the flybridge effortlessly delivers a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots. The Ferretti 780 also benefits from a electro-hydraulic navigation and stabilisation system, which ensures the highest standards of steering precision during even more challenging voyages.
