The all-new BMW M5 Touring blends sportiness with everyday practicality
The BMW 5 Series is one of the marque’s proudest creations, offering a lineup of high-performance cars equipped with the latest M hybrid drive train. It boasts the perfect blend of the impressive performance of a combustion engine and the sustainability of an electric motor.
This blend of innovation and power is present in the all-new BMW M5 Touring, headlined by unrestricted everyday usability and long-distance capability.
It is equipped with a 4.4-litre V8 engine and an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed transmission. This perfect combination delivers impressive longitudinal and transverse dynamics.
In addition, the M5 Touring is equipped with the latest M TwinPower Turbo technology, which produces a maximum output of 430 kW (585 hp) and peak torque of 750 Nm. As a result, the car can accelerate rapidly, reaching 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
The powertrain also enables the car to reach a top speed of 250 km/h, which can be increased to 305 km/h when the optional M Driver’s Package is specified. Meanwhile, the electric motor provides an electric range of 61 to 67 km in the WLTP cycle.
The BMW M5 Touring’s design reflects the brand’s signature blend of form and function, featuring a modern take on the iconic M design with racecar-inspired elements.
Its athletic character is accentuated by flared wheel arches, muscular shoulders and a sleek, elongated roofline. The front end is equally striking, with large air intakes and a newly designed M kidney grille, featuring BMW’s distinctive Iconic Glow contour lighting.
Inside the cabin, the M5 Touring continues to embody the racecar-inspired atmosphere, featuring a newly designed M leather steering wheel, multifunctional seats, M-specific readouts on the BMW Curved Display and the standard BMW Head-Up Display.
Additionally, Merano leather is used for the trim, enhancing the premium ambience. This is further complemented by M-specific interior lighting with a Welcome Animation, as well as a Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System.
