The award-winning Bluegame BGX63 is a masterclass in openness and fluidity

While most yachts in its class lean on a more sedate approach to their layouts, Bluegame BGX63’s design philosophy focuses on adaptability and fluidity. The yacht’s clever layout has been meticulously crafted to maximise angles and proportions.

The BGX63 became one of Bluegame’s most globally recognisable cruisers because of this. Its Italian styling and prize-winning two-tier design have received international recognition at different shows. In fact, it was awarded “the most avant-garde yacht” at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2019, as well as the “best custom yacht” at Düsseldorf the following year.

Judges celebrated BGX63’s design because it favours openness by removing unnecessary corridors. The yacht’s unique structure, with its interconnected stern platform, generous lounges and large-format windows, authors a certain closeness with the sea.

Meanwhile, the main deck revolves around the two-person helm, defined by commanding 360 views, an L-shaped sofa and dining table. The stairs, on the other hand, lead down to the master stateroom for immediate privacy. Complementing these is a bow that features an extensive lounging area packed with sun pads and even more sofas and tables.

Owners can create a spacious beach club thanks to the open transom. The large swim platform already comes with a wet bar and Gaggenau grill, as well as a neatly concealed crane for carrying water toys and tenders.

It makes use of various staircases to go through the different parts of the vessel. Through the saloon, for instance, guests can access the master suite. On the other hand, the VIP cabin and additional double staterooms can be accessed through a different staircase near the bow.

With the standard twin 800-hp Volvo IPS1050 pod drives, the BGX63 produces a cruising speed of 27 knots and a max speed of 30. Its reconfigured aft also allows for better stability through more challenging waters.

The BGX63 will be making its Australian premiere in Sydney this coming October. Visit Bluegame for more information.
