Boulevard hosted an exclusive showcase of Yadanar Gems’ exceptional jewellery pieces and rare gemstones, joined by luxury partners, Etro Home Interiors, Porsche, and Sturion Caviar. Held over two evenings at a private shophouse near the Robertson Quay enclave in Singapore, the event welcomed a host of jewellery connoisseurs who were thrilled to have the opportunity to dive into the world of ultra-exclusive, rare and investable gemstones.

The experience started with a chauffeur service by Porsche, who picked up the guests in its renowned models, including the Taycan, Panamera and Cayenne Coupé. Guests were also treated to champagne, thoughtful grazing-table selections, and Sturion Caviar’s signature pairings.

To delve further into the exclusive realm of collectible gems, Boulevard hosted a fireside chat with Asia Glory Gemmological Laboratory founder and gemmologist Kyaw Swar Htun, who flew in from Myanmar for the event. Boulevard founder and CEO Hamish McDougall and Kyaw Swar explored what makes a gemstone worth collecting or investing in. They discussed the key factors that shape a gem’s value, the enduring significance of the Big Four—sapphires, rubies, emeralds and diamonds—as well as the rising interest in unheated or untreated stones. He also highlighted a number of alternative gems that are beginning to capture collectors’ attention.

Among the highlights of Yadanar Gems’ showcase was a unique, platinum pearl necklace that features 226 Akoya pearls, 44 pieces of 0.46-carat round-cut diamonds, 20 pieces of 1.07-carat marquise-cut diamonds, and six pieces of 1.34-carat pear-shaped diamonds.

Other notable pieces include a selection of rings, each defined by its centre stone. These ranged from the Conch Pearl Ring set with a 4.52-carat oval pink natural conch pearl, to a Sapphire Ring featuring a 2.82-carat oval sapphire accented with six 0.07-carat round-cut diamonds. The line-up also included a Pearl Ring with a 15.11 mm white pearl, and an Aquamarine Ring showcasing a 16.41-carat octagon-shaped aquamarine, paired with two 0.15-carat pear-shaped diamonds and framed by 282 round-cut diamonds.

Partner brands added further distinction to the evening, with Etro Home Interiors’ signature pieces furnishing the space. At the entry, the Amanti-Motif Porcelain Series and Cachemire trays were displayed on Meridiani’s Hardy console. In the main living area, Amanti candles and cushions completed the setting with a warm, vibrant touch.
