Exquisite finishes and premium furniture pieces breathe life and personality into a home. From a Calacatta marble-top kitchen island and polished steel fittings, to a designer sofa or a striking dining table, each element reflects the homeowner’s style and character. Yet it’s often the lighting that completes the story. Chandeliers, pendant lights and distinctive fixtures don’t just brighten a room, they create mood, draw the eye and quietly connect every detail into a cohesive, inviting space.

At 2025 edition of Salone del Mobile in Milan, collectors and enthusiasts also experienced Euroluce—the international lighting exhibition held every two years as part of the design week. Here, renowned lighting houses unveiled striking installations and innovative fixtures that go beyond mere function, transforming living spaces into true reflections of the homeowner’s taste and character.

From Sans Souci’s Vincent van Gogh-inspired light installations and Preciosa’s immersive crystal display, to Artemide’s starchitect collabs and Serip’s nature-inspired designs, this year’s Euroluce offered a glimpse into how lighting can be art, atmosphere and statement all at once. Here are some of the most striking showcases that lit up the fair.

Sans Souci’s Vincent van Gogh-inspired light installations

Czech glassmaker Sans Souci presented bespoke light installations inspired by visionaries who created art guided not just by what they saw, but by what they felt. Take Vincent van Gogh, for example—an artist who transformed raw emotion and imagination into luminous, sculptural forms.

The ‘Brush Collection’ embodied this philosophy with layered, brushstroke-like glass pieces that evoke the texture and movement of paint on canvas. Meanwhile, the ‘Clouds Collection’ captured the gentle drift of clouds across the sky, illuminated in shifting hues that echo the warmth of the sun and the cool glow of the moon.

Bomma’s upcycled glass collection

Salone del Mobile 2025 - Euroluce

Long admired for its handcrafted glasswork, including sculptural lighting fixtures and mouth-blown crystal glass, Bomma unveiled its striking installation, ‘Fragments Reborn’. The presentation featured the debut of two new lighting collections—the ‘Fragment Line’ and ‘Fragments’.

These collections are not only functioning light fixtures but also expressive pieces that play with reflection and distortion, turning broken, irregular forms into works of art. Bomma used upcycled shards of glass, embracing imperfection and reimagining the pieces as luminous sculptures.

Preciosa’s immersive crystal display

Salone del Mobile 2025 - Euroluce

Renowned for blending traditional Bohemian crystal craftsmanship with modern design and technology, Czech lighting brand Preciosa introduced its latest Signature Designs—collections centred on highly customisable crystal installations. These new pieces allow designers and homeowners alike to play with scale, shape and pattern that turns classic crystal into contemporary statements tailored to each space.

The highlight of the showcase is ‘Crystal Links’, a design that echoes the structure and geometric lines of urban skylines and contemporary architecture. It combines sleek metal tubes with handcrafted Bohemian crystal bicones, creating a striking interplay of materials and form. Fully customisable, the installation offers a range of lighting options—from static white and tunable white to dynamic red, green, blue and white LEDs—allowing each piece to be tailored to its setting and mood.

Moooi’s rhythmic works of art

Salone del Mobile 2025

Moooi brought to life its multisensory installation ‘A Life Extraordinary’ at the Salone del Mobile, featuring furniture and textiles that embrace a whimsical, maximalist spirit. To balance this bold approach, the Dutch design brand also introduced its ‘Beta Living Pebble’ light installations—more restrained in form yet still designed to bring subtle movement, rhythm and a sense of vitality to any interior.

The installation comes in four poetic modes, each evoking a distinct sense of motion and mood. ‘Dream’ bathes the room in a soft, cloud-like glow, while ‘Twinkle’ adds a delicate, star-like flicker. ‘Whisper’ features a gentle, almost imperceptible sway that recalls a passing breeze, and ‘Dance’ is the most expressive, casting shifting shadows that animate the surrounding space.

Ilti Luce’s scenographic outdoor installation

Salone del Mobile 2025 - Euroluce

Marking a new chapter in outdoor lighting, Ilti Luce teamed up with renowned interior designer Fabio Santambrogio, whose avant-garde approach brings a fresh creative edge to the Turin-based brand’s contemporary vision. Together, they have reimagined how outdoor spaces can be illuminated, blending sculptural design with functional light to create environments that feel both dramatic and inviting.

At the heart of the showcase is the ‘Zirkol Circle’ collection, featuring elegant circular suspension lamps crafted from anodised aluminium with an opal diffuser that provides even, gentle illumination. Versatile enough for both general and decorative lighting, Zirkol Circle brings a refined, modern touch to patios, terraces and garden spaces, seamlessly balancing practical light with architectural presence.

Artemide’s starchitect collabs

Salone del Mobile 2025 Euroluce

Renowned Italian lighting house Artemide delivered a striking showcase of its creative range, highlighting an impressive line-up of collaborations with some of the world’s most celebrated architects and designers. These partnerships resulted in bold statement pieces that push the boundaries of form and function.

One standout piece is the ‘La Linea 25’, a flexible, slim light installation shaped to resemble the fluid silhouettes of human faces. Designed in collaboration with Bjarke Ingels Group—an international collective of architects and designers—La Linea 25 is available in different lengths and can be curved into intricate or geometric forms that adapt seamlessly to any architectural space or landscape. This adaptability makes it not just a light source but a dynamic feature that interacts with its surroundings, adding an element of movement and personality to the environment.

Serip’s nature-inspired design

Salone del Mobile 2025 - Euroluce

Portuguese lighting house Serip showcased its nature-inspired pieces at Euroluce, crafted from crystal, smoked glass and bronze. From delicate leaves that seem to drift on a breeze to intricate variations of petals frozen in mid-bloom, each design captures fleeting moments found in nature. The ‘Blossom Collection’, for instance, features glass flowers with an effervescent, bubbly texture. Branch-like bronze structures connect the petals skyward, adding a sense of depth and gentle movement.

Another notable light installation is the ‘Aria Collection’ (top) made from porcelain—a new material for Serip—combined with cast metal and glass. This collection evokes the subtle “arias” of the natural world—a bird’s cheerful song, the hum of bees, wildflowers swaying in the wind or the splash of ocean waves. Each organic form is shaped through hand-blown glass and sculpted metalwork, resulting in lighting that feels more like a living artwork than a fixture.
