A triumph of luminosity: The Sanlorenzo SL96A is a masterclass in carefully crafted asymmetrical design

When one envisions the Sanlorenzo SL96A, one thinks of a vessel that exudes luminosity and flexibility. It’s a masterclass in reconfiguration, showing how much space can be maximised when using an asymmetrical layout. The exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful detail, of course, are no slouches either.

Crafted with such a precision, the SL96A yacht would redefine luxury cruising when it was first built in 2021, with a design comparable to that of the SL102 Asymmetric. The objective here was to create more interior space all the while maintaining the Italian shipyard’s distinct style and comfort.

Thanks to a side deck on the starboard side, the main deck adds more or less 105 sqft, adding plenty of room for the five cabins. Within the flybridge are meticulously designed interiors that feature bespoke furnishings and state-of-the-art amenities. The SL96A also boasts generous decks ideal for entertaining, with spaces dedicated to sunbathing, alfresco dining and lounging about in front of breathtaking backdrops.

This vessel is also fitted with MTU engines, equipping it with powerful and efficient propulsion systems that help it reach up to 30 knots top speed. This, in turn, leads to smooth sailing and impressive performance on the waters. This kind of engine is great for efficient fuel consumption and even reduces emissions.

Not only is the flybridge great for casual cruising, but it also minimizes its environmental footprint. The pre-owned yacht, of course, is still in impeccable condition because of the work of a meticulous full-time crew. As it stands, it has very low engine hours, clocking in at 500 hours as of December 2023.
