Sanlorenzo introduces the 74Steel, its largest, bespoke superyacht to date
Just when we thought Sanlorenzo outdid itself with the 210-foot 64Steel Attila, the yacht builder has upped the ante with the 74Steel—its largest superyacht to date. Measuring 241 feet, the vessel belongs to the Steel range, known for its steel hulls and aluminium superstructures, designed for long-distance cruising and expansive interior layouts.
Of course, as with every Sanlorenzo yacht, the new flagship is fully customisable to reflect the owner’s personal vision and preferences. This includes specially curated interiors, customised layouts, and even different bow configurations.

The 74Steel’s exterior design is created in collaboration with Zuccon International Project, a Rome-based architecture and industrial design studio known for its work in the yacht industry.
The superyacht features a vertical bow and a dynamic stern, which enhances is aggressive silhouette and functionality at sea. It is built with an expansive sun deck, which offers more than just alfresco dining. It also serves as an additional entertainment space, equipped with a bar or galley unit, a forward seating arranged around a firepit, and a hot tub bordered with sun pads.

Inside the main deck, the interiors echo the yacht’s bold exterior lines, with design by Francesco Paszkowski in collaboration with Margherita Casprini, whose signature aesthetic combines modern sophistication with timeless Italian style. Every detail of the space can be tailored to the owner’s preferences, from layout to material finishes, ensuring a truly bespoke onboard experience. The main saloon serves as both a lounge and a cinema area, complete with a large TV, while a sleek bar separates the lounge from the dining space.
The dining area features a table for up to 14 guests, framed by sliding glass doors that fill the room with natural light and open onto the alfresco deck. The main deck also houses five ensuite cabins, including a VIP suite with its own private living room.

One of the highlights of the 74Steel is the owner’s deck, which features a fully customisable, 1,399 sqft of interior space. The suite comes with a private lounge and office, expansive walk-in wardrobe, two spa-inspired bathrooms—one with a stand-alone bathtub—and a king-size bed overlooking a private forward terrace with hot tub.

Another prominent feature that makes the superyacht standout from its 64Steel predecessor is its lower deck, featuring an expansive beach club and wellness area. It is completed with a gym with fold-down platform, massage room, sauna, hammam plunge pool and even a family room for younger guests. Two tender garages complete the space, one of which houses a 10-metre Pascoe limo tender that provides seamless transport for guests and crew between the yacht and shore.
The 56-metre wheelhouse, located at the bridge deck, is designed for maximum functionality and visibility. It includes a foredeck that can be used as a touch-and-go helipad, as well as a captain’s cabin and an additional staff or pilot suite.

The 74Steel is equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion setup, which optimises the technical space and allows it to be repurposed and customised as a recreational area. Its systems are powered by six variable-speed Volvo Penta–Mase generators that drive twin 1,000 kW Schottel E-Pods, engineered in-house in collaboration with Siemens Energy to maximise efficiency, reduce emissions and deliver a smooth, stable cruising experience.
The first Sanlorenzo 74Steel is set to be delivered in 2026, with a total of three hulls already sold and a fourth vessel under negotiation.
