Rimac Nevera at 15: The next leap one of the first great all-electric hypercars

In the competitive and evolving world of electrification, Rimac Automobili emerged as an early adopter of the movement. Since then, it has remained one of the most forward-thinking marques in the market. Mate Rimac himself would say a range of world records with the self-converted all-electric BMW based on an 1984 3-series in 2011. Seven years later, it introduced the world’s first all-electric hypercar, ultimately laying the foundation for the record-breaking all-electric Nevera.

For its 15th anniversary, Rimac has released a special 15th anniversary edition of the iconic hypercar, starting off with the first model rendered in a new shade of matte copper. With only nine of these bespoke cars set to be in circulation, its new design resonates especially with collectors for its futuristic silhouette.

Copper is meant to not only celebrate the Marque’s anniversary, but also a reference to Rimac’s inventive use of electric cables. The paintwork is enhanced even further with a new full visible carbon fibre split, providing a striking bold contrast both in texture and colour.

Likewise, the interiors mimic the sharp contours of the exterior. Found here is copper anodized switchgear and copper-painted surfaces to complement the body. An exclusive one-of-nine and ‘2009-2024’ script is written on the armrest, as well. Each hypercar also enjoys the exclusive dual-color alloy wheel design, 15-year anniversary badging and the distinctive Rimac pattern in the shape of a circuit board.

The cabin is completely customisable. This means that owners can choose between finishes in bold black or pristine white with the contrasting copper leather seats and lining.

The next-generation Nevera features upgraded aerodynamics, improved battery technology and refinements in its electric powertrain. With a power output exceeding 1,900 hp and a top speed approaching 250 mph, the anniversary edition elevates the driving experience all the while maintaining its core attributes.

The first of nine bespoke Nevera will make its debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed and will take on the iconic hill climb, the very course where the Nevera Time Attack edition set the production car record in 2023, clocking in at an impressive 49.32 seconds.
