Pagani Utopia Roadster: A masterpiece of engineering, luxury and unmatched driving thrill
The Utopia Roadster is the latest masterpiece from Italian automaker—no, purveyor of kinetic art—Pagani. With just 130 units worldwide, including an alleged five destined for Singapore, it merges the raw performance and precision engineering of a sports car with the elegance and freedom of an open-top design. Despite its convertible design, it retains the same lightweight construction and dynamic capabilities as its coupé counterpart, thanks to the use of advanced composite materials exclusively engineered for the hypercar.
Each Utopia Roadster is offered with a range of bespoke configurations, from the exterior finish to the leather upholstery on the seats. This approach makes owners co-creators of their own unique hypercars, ensuring that no two roadsters are ever the same.

Like the Utopia Coupé, the Roadster holds the same retro-futuristic silhouette, but with the additional feature of a removable roof. This option allows owners to travel under the open sky, with the hypercar’s hard-top roof removed and displayed on a stand, transforming it into a work of art in its own right. They can also choose to use the soft top, which is stored neatly in a suitcase behind the two seats.
The car also features sophisticated aesthetics, including doors with elegant butterfly kinematics and bespoke Pirelli Cyber tyres with advanced sensor technology. It also has a single large roof window that enhances its open, airy feel.
Its sleek, sculpted silhouette isn’t just for looks – it also boosts aerodynamic efficiency, with shaped wheel arches and two adjustable flaps that help the car remain stable and smooth at high speeds.

Unlike many convertibles, the Utopia Roadster sacrifices nothing in terms of weight or performance. Pagani broke all records to keep its body strong, light and durable by engineering over forty advanced materials exclusively for the hypercar. This keeps its weight at just 1,280 kg, helping it stay fast and agile.
Its lightweight chassis also plays a big role in its performance, keeping the car rigid and stable – a crucial advantage for an open-top design. That means collectors get the thrill of open-air driving without giving up speed, handling or balance.

Inside the cabin, the Pagani Utopia Roadster features an analogue display that resembles a luxury watch for a nostalgic feel. The dials show the car’s speed and other important details, making it easy to read at a glance.
A bespoke steering wheel takes centre stage in the cabin, featuring a thick, sculpted rim with spokes and a hub precision-crafted from a single piece of lightweight metal. Leather pads finish the design, enhancing its appearance and providing excellent grip.
At its heart, an all-new Pagani V12 engine powers the Utopia Roadster, built in collaboration with Mercedes-AMG, the German brand’s subsidiary that builds ultra high-performance vehicles.

The engine delivers a power output of 864 hp (635 kW), paired with an immediate turbo response of 1,100 Nm. It’s comparable to that of many racing engines with a compact and lightweight design. This allows the hypercar to deliver smooth performance at low revs and achieve impressive acceleration without compromise.
Pagani goes against modern trends by offering a true driver’s experience with a traditional seven-speed manual gearbox with a classic gear lever. For those who prefer a more contemporary touch, the car also offers an automated manual transmission controlled by paddle shifters. Both options deliver a smooth, responsive drive in any road condition, including on the racetrack. This gives drivers the rare freedom to choose between hands-on engagement and modern convenience without sacrificing performance.
