The Pacific Club Singapore, an invite-only private club, showcases a collection of rare and exceptional whiskies—many of which are open to expressions of interest.

Among them, the Dalmore 45 was matured for a total of 45 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, wine barriques and port pipes. Master distiller Richard Paterson hand crafted the expression, using some of the distillery’s rarest aged liquids and bottled it at 40 per cent Alcohol By Volume (ABV).

The Macallan ‘Travel Decades’ Series (above) is owned by a private collector, who is a member of the club. The reason he wanted to collect the bottles was because “they represent the style the whisky was made in the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s”.

He adds, “I started collecting individual bottles of this Macallan series sometime in 2015. It was impossible to obtain the entire set intact. I bought a bottle at auction, one at a small Whisky shop in Glasgow and two others from collectors. Finally I got my set.”

It is part of a series launched for the Travel Retail market by the Speyside distillery in the late 1990s and early 2000s. All expressions are bottled at 40 per cent ABV in 500ml decanters.

The ‘Flora and Fauna’ Series, created in the early 1990s by United Distillers Vintners (now known as Diageo), consists of 26 rare expressions each matured for more than 10 years. The collection includes the Mortlach 16-Year-Old, Aberfeldy 15-Year-Old, Pittyvaich 12-Year-Old, Caol Ila 15-Year-Old, Glenlossie 10-Year-Old, and Linkwood 12-Year-Old.

The Glenfarclas Family Cask Trunk brings together vintage Speyside whiskies from the Family Cask range, made between 1954 and 2003. Presented in a custom-made trunk modelled on old shipping luggage, it also contains a replica of the oldest known painting of the distillery, four slate coasters, three hand-printed and leather-bound books, along with tumblers and glasses by Glencairn Crystal.

The Gordon & McPhail Glen Grant 72 Years is a historic expression ranked among the Top 5 Oldest Whiskies globally. It is distilled in 1948 and matured for 72 years in a single American ex-sherry cask. The expression is bottled at 52.6 per cent ABV in a handcrafted Dartington Crystal decanter, and housed within a luxurious American black walnut presentation box.
