Boulevard partnered with renowned British luxury carmaker McLaren and National Australia Bank’s private division, NAB Private Wealth, to host an exclusive drive day for a select group of clients, offering the opportunity to experience a range of the marque’s hybrid supercars.

The day began on a clear Sydney morning at McLaren’s flagship showroom, where guests were introduced to the lineup. Central to the experience was the McLaren Artura Coupé, defined by its twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain, delivering a top speed of 330 km/h and acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds. Alongside it, the Artura Spider offered the same performance credentials in a lightweight convertible form, shifting the emphasis toward a more open and immersive drive.

From the showroom, the group set out through the Central Business District, following a route designed to highlight the cars’ distinct characteristics. The Artura Coupé demonstrated sharp handling and precision through tighter turns, while the Artura Spider introduced a more sensory, open-air dynamic. Rather than focusing solely on speed, the drive allowed participants to engage with the engineering and responsiveness of each model in a controlled urban setting.

By midday, the convoy made its way to Bert’s Bar & Brasserie on the Northern Beaches. The waterfront setting provided a welcome pause to the morning’s drive, treating guests to a relaxed, curated lunch. The transition from city roads to a quieter, scenic backdrop underscored the broader intent of the event.

For the private clients, the drive day was not only a way to experience the design and performance of a McLaren hybrid supercar. It became a direct way to engage with the brand beyond the showroom, through a social format that felt both personal and uncontrived.
