Now, it looks to reinvent modern ideas of luxury again with the introduction of The Drop, a new compact format of the legendary cognac – an exercise in spontaneity, self-expression, and individualism.

It adds a fresh, more playful dimension to the Louis XIII experience. Made for the modern-day nomad, The Drop is a reinterpretation of Louis XIII in pocket-sized, wearable 1cl bottles. The release looks to embody the ‘free spirit’ by allowing consumers to choose between five “moods” for the collection, namely Loud, Glow, Bold, Smooth, and Bright. Complementing the world-class cognac bottles are custom shoulder straps that encapsulate the wearer’s attitude and persona.

Conceptualised in collaboration with award-winning agency TBWA Paris, this collection offers enthusiasts and connoisseurs an opportunity to enjoy Louis XIII Cognac in a fresh, contemporary way. It weaves together the spirit of urban culture and the vigor of natural elements.

The campaign even makes use of different scenes around the globe, such as the vineyards of Cognac, the skyscrapers of Detroit, and the Red Mountain of Hong Shan. These visuals are meant to capture a boundless energy, echoing the mindset that drives Remy Martin and the fabled cognac blend.

Of all things, The Drop represents a new experiential configuration for the next generation of cognac connoisseurs, one that is comprised of digital natives, pioneers, life‐fulfillers, multi-taskers, and travelers. With it, the brand hopes to set a standard for what the luxury code can be in this segment. Louis XIII’s timeless cognac blend is distilled in its purest form. The Drop retails for AU$ 328 per unit or AU$ 1,639 for an exclusive box of five bottles.
