Rare gemstones, geometric lines and technical mastery define Louis Vuitton’s latest high jewellery collection
For Louis Vuitton, high jewellery pieces are not merely accessories but are objets d’art that tell a story through rare gemstones and distinctive sculptural forms. This ethos is embodied in its latest high jewellery line, the Virtuosity collection.
Featuring 110 one-of-a-kind pieces set across 12 themes, the Louis Vuitton Virtuosity collection is divided into two chapters: The World of Mastery and The World of Creativity. The first explores the maison’s signature motifs—such as its trunk hardware, the Monogram flower and the Damier pattern—through seven sharply structured, geometrically driven designs. The second chapter shifts toward five more expressive interpretations, where colour, movement and form are used more freely to blur the line between heritage and artistic experimentation.
The World of Mastery opens with Savoir (top), a captivating necklace anchored by a rare, 30.56-carat triangle-cut Australian black opal. Its striking red and green hues draw the eye to the second stone—a 28.01-carat emerald drop. Further design cues nod to Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making heritage, like the chevron patterns that mimic a trunk’s angular corners, which are set with nail-style closet diamonds. A string of emerald beads lines the jewel, adding contrast and softness to the overall piece.

Another standout from the collection’s first chapter is Maestria, a bold high-collar necklace crafted from white and yellow gold. At its centre are three Colombian emeralds—the largest weighing 8.88 carats—framed by a mosaic of more than 2,500 diamonds, including 250 custom cuts shaped to echo Louis Vuitton’s Damier check and kite-like forms. Despite its substantial appearance, the necklace is crafted with a subtle internal structure that allows it to flex and move comfortably with the body.
The Apogée—a transformable necklace than can be worn in three different ways—continues the tribute to Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making savoir faire. Its design features articulated, diamond-set handles that echo the fittings of the maison’s iconic trunks, along with signature elements such as the kite motif and an LV Star crafted from a 10.56-carat D Flawless diamond. At the heart of the piece is a 30.75-carat pear-cut Brazilian emerald, bringing a vivid finish to this technically intricate creation.

Connection, a necklace in yellow and white gold, brings The World of Mastery to a close with a design that echoes the twists and loops of knotted rope. At its centre is a striking 6.04-carat pigeon blood ruby, its deep red hue set in contrast against a surface of more than 2,000 pavé-set diamonds, over 100 closed-set diamonds and 114 lustrous pearls. The result is a piece that balances structure and fluidity, with materials chosen as much for their visual harmony as for their symbolism.

The second chapter, The World of Creativity, shifts the focus from precision to expression, led by standout pieces like Joy—a celebration of colour, movement and playfulness. Crafted in yellow gold, the necklace is set with rare gemstones ranging from 10.06 to 41.62 carats, including three vibrant yellow sapphires and ten soft pink tourmalines, some of which are bi-coloured and shift subtly from green to pink. The design draws on the collection’s recurring rope motif, reinterpreting it with a sense of fluidity and rhythm that reflects the piece’s cheerful character.

Another highlight, Aura, continues the dialogue between innovation and heritage, placing the iconic LV monogram flower at its centre. The motif features a custom 2.54-carat LV Monogram Flower-cut diamond, surrounded by 48.06 carats of blush-toned tourmalines. The necklace is fully transformable and can be worn in three distinct ways—as a choker, a longer necklace, or even styled as a belt—reinforcing the collection’s emphasis on versatility and inventive craftsmanship.
