Reinventing sporting luxury with the all-new Land Rover Range Rover Sport

With the latest release of the Range Rover Sport, Land Rover again reminds the world of all the ways it can still reshape sporting luxury. Here, the marque created a midsize SUV that is as luxurious as it is eco-conscious – with the off-road might and technology to match.

The Range Rover Sport’s stealth-like front grille and dynamic stance, of course, is instantly one of the most recognisable midsize SUV profiles in the world. This is only emphasised by a Matte Graphite Atlas finish. Its exterior is defined by muscular proportions, accentuated by unique finishes and detailing.

Complementing these are revamped lower fender details plus the longest spoiler ever on a Range Rover. Flush glazing and door handles, as well as a hidden waist rail finisher and a laser-welded roof each also add a sense of refinement to the SUV.

Just as exquisite, too, are those satin grey alloy wheels with bonnet louvres and side ingots finished in burnished copper. The LED lighting units, on the other hand, provide the vehicle with a crisp and contemporary look when the sun sets.

The new Range Rover Sport boasts an electric driving range of up to 113km and an expected real-world range of 88km. Fairly capable of going from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.4 seconds, it’s setting a new benchmark for SUVs in this segment. Longer journeys should benefit from the plug-in hybrid powertrain, as well, which has a 740-km range using a combined petrol and electric power.

The marque hoped to promotes sustainable driving here by championing the vehicle’s enhanced electric hybrid range. It’s specifically engineered to endure grueling rides while also significant reducing carbon monoxide emissions.

These SUVs can hold its own for off-road trips thanks to the latest Terrain Response 2® system. This new adaptive off-road cruise makes its highly anticipated debut with the Range Rover Sport, applying the most appropriate settings for navigating any terrain that ensures better steering and handling.

Besides the sophistication of its aesthetics and performance, the Range Rover Sport boasts state-of-the-art innovations, combining the best of new-age tech, sustainability and the distinct Land Rover character. And it starts with its Pivi Pro systems.

Featured on a 13.1-inch curved touchscreen, it showcases an easy-to-use interface that even educes driver distractions using Amazon’s Alexa as a voice control option. A level of convenience like this enables full potential accessibility to apps all the while securing safe travels. Land Rover also reduced wires, focusing on better wireless connectivity for smartphones. Land Rover clearly hope to elevate sporting luxury down to the last detail.
