IWC Schaffhausen unveils a new timepiece fuelled by its longstanding Formula One partnership
Since 2013, IWC Schaffhausen has forged a profound partnership with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, becoming its ’Official Engineering Partner’. The Maison crafted the first official team watch in 2022 with the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Edition, followed by the Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 in 2024.

Underscoring its longstanding partnership, IWC Schaffhausen introduces the new official team watch, the Pilot’s Watch Mark XX Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
The timepiece features an IWC-manufactured 32111 calibre, delivering an impressive 120-hour power reserve. This automatic movement sits inside a 40-millimetre grade 5 titanium case, which is lightweight yet exceptionally durable, providing water resistance up to 10 bars.

The case is sandblasted to create an attractive greyish shimmer, complemented with printed numerals and indices in the team’s signature Petronas green. The hours, minutes, and seconds hands feature the same vibrant colour and are coated with Super-LumiNova, offering a striking contrast against the black dial.
Additionally, the case back features an intricate hexagon engraving alongside the ’Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team’ inscription. The timepiece is paired with a Petronas green rubber strap and equipped with IWC’s innovative strap change system for added versatility.
The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team – including mechanics, engineers and race strategists – will sport the timepiece trackside during the 2025 season.
