The highly anticipated Cadillac MY25 Lyriq has finally arrived in the Asia Pacific, setting a new standard for luxury electric SUVs with its striking design and state-of-the-art technology. Offering an unparalleled driving experience, the Lyriq is available in two exclusive models for Australia and New Zealand, which are Luxury and Sport.
The Luxury model is crafted for a sophisticated experience, adorned with chrome characteristics associated with its understated elegance. It features an angled linear pattern on the crystal shield, diamond cut Manoogian Silver wheel finish and luxury chrome exterior accents.
The Sport model, on the other hand, boasts a darker, more striking feature that is specifically designed for expressive power and presence. It features an interlocking triangular pattern on the crystal shield, polished wheels with a Satin Dark Android finish, as well as obsidian chrome exterior accents.
While each model boasts different characteristics, both still hold the same sculptural yet effortlessly fluid silhouette of a Cadillac Lyriq. It features a Black Crystal front grille, a dual panel power sunroof that stretches through to the roof spoiler, a Hands-Free Liftgate and Cadillac branded projection light.
Inside the SUV, the driver is instantly greeted with the 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display that is equipped with a driver information center, as well as navigation and infotainment systems. It also features an all-new AKG Studio 19-speaker system with Active Noise Cancellation, a power lumbar massage on the front seats and a tri-zone automatic climate control.
The Lyriq’s interior features sophisticated detailing, including an intricate back-lit laser that etches Cadillac’s signature knurling and patterns into its components. It also offers a selection of interior color options, with choices for Inteluxe or leather seat trims, both featuring perforated inserts.
Of course, the models are also offered with a selection of several contemporary colours to choose from, including Crystal White Tricoat, Stellar Black Metallic, Radient Red Tintcoat, Opulent Blue Metallic and more. Customisable interior packages are also available, such as the Nappa leather package.
The Lyriq’s specifications further underscore its status as a leader in the electric vehicle market. Both Luxury and Sport models feature an all-wheel drive powertrain with a 102kWh Ultium Battery, which enables the car to reach up to 530 km in between charges and 128 km for a 10-minute charge. This also delivers 388 kW of power and 610 nm of torque.
The car also includes advanced safety features, such as Blind Zone Steering Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Alert, Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, ensuring a safer and more confident driving experience.
