Automobili Pininfarina unveils the Battista Novantacinque: The final chapter of an iconic hyper GT line

Automobili Pininfarina has introduced the Battista Novantacinque, a one-of-a-kind hyper Grand Tourer created to mark the 95th anniversary of the Italian design house, Pininfarina SpA. Debuted at the Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile (MAUTO) in Turin, the Novantacinque stands as both a tribute to the carmaker’s heritage and the final bespoke creation in the Battista line.

The Battista itself is a singular figure in automotive history, heralded as one of the most powerful cars ever designed and built in Italy, boasting an overall power of 1,900 hp, 2,340 Nm of torque and a 0–100 km/h sprint in under two seconds. Powered entirely by four electric motors, one at each wheel, the car combines extreme performance with zero emissions. Across its production run, no more than 150 examples had been handcrafted at Automobili Pininfarina’s Cambiano atelier, each tailored to its owner’s exact specifications.

The Novantacinque takes this pedigree further, standing out as a singular commission and celebratory finale for the line. Finished in Exposed Signature Carbon Tinted Rosso Gloss, complemented by PURA Vision Gold and Nero Torino accents, its exterior exudes Italian flair, with a subtle gold pinstripe and the commemorative “Novantacinque” script on the rear wing. To complete the look, the car also features Iconico wheels, black brake callipers and brushed aluminium details.

Inside, the cabin features Pilota seats, which combine Black Leather and Alcantara with duotone stitching in black and gold, while knee pads, chassis plates, and door panels feature the “95” emblem and unique patterns. Satin carbon and anodised aluminium elements are found throughout the interiors, alongside newly designed machined rotary controls that feel sculptural as well as functional.

Paolo Dellachà, CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, described the Novantacinque as “the pinnacle of bespoke luxury and performance… the final expression of the Battista line, an icon to be treasured for generations.” As the last model in this groundbreaking series, the GT not only celebrates a storied 95-year legacy of design but also secures its place as a future classic and highly coveted collector’s piece.
