Aston Martin reimagines the iconic Vanquish equipped with the latest V12 engine

When Aston Martin first unveiled the 2001 version of the Vanquish, it instantly gained multiple praises from collectors and enthusiasts alike, more so because of its iconic appearance in the 007 film, but also because of its impressive performance on the road.

Enter 2024, where the Marque introduces the comeback of the Vanquish with improved aesthetics, and an even greater performance powered by a new V12 engine.

Aston Martin Vanquish

The 2024 version of the Aston Martin Vanquish showcases exceptional engineering ability, equipped with the state-of-the-art 5.2-litre Twin Turbo V12 engine that was first seen on the DB12 and Vantage. The V12 enables the Vanquish to produce an impressive 835PS and 1000Nm of torque, achieving a new benchmark for supercar performance. It also allows for a top speed of 214-345 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, the highest top speed in all of Aston Martin’s series production car to date.

To make the V12 engine all the more impressive for the supercar, a new Boost Reserve function was added, which increases turbo boost pressure and allows for even more reactive power delivery that is especially beneficial for overtaking manoeuvres and dynamic driving.

Apart from its unparalleled performance, Vanquish also boasts an impressive body structure made of aluminium and fitted with suspension systems that are capable of delivering impeccably tuned dynamics. It is also equipped with the latest bespoke calibration system, the Bilstein DTX dampers, which gives the supercar greater stability and an enhanced feeling of connection between body, suspension and rear axle.

With Vanquish’s various driving mode settings, GT mode, which enables driving for all road types and Sports and Sport+ damper modes for a more aggressive ride, the new calibration system allows for a greater range of refinement and control on all of these modes. Aston Martin also partnered with Pirelli to develop custom-fitted, winter and summer P ZERO™ tyres. These, plus the Carbon Ceramic Brakes, provide an increase in performance while ensuring safety of the drivers under difficult driving conditions.

The supercar boasts the same toned physique, broad stance and fluid curves as the iconic Aston Martins of the past and present, particularly those found on Formula One cars. It features an all-new surface language and amplified front-engine proportions, as well as a sculpted bonnet with F1® inspired thermos louvres that are just as functional as they are appealing.

But what makes the 2024 version of the supercar more unique than its 2001 counterpart is the addition of a panoramic tinted glass roof, a first in all Aston Martin V12 cars. Additionally, it also features a new front bumper, fender and grille design as well as an increased rear body width of 10 mm, which all contribute to its greater and more assertive road presence.

Similarly, the interiors are all just as impressive, fitted with a bespoke layout and equipped with a 10.25-inch TFT driver display and touchscreen system that is made more convenient for driving. The screen provides all access for infotainment, climate and general vehicle settings and also includes override switches for Chassis, ESP and Exhaust, Lane Assist and Park Distance Control.
