The Dalmore 45 is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 45 years in a combination of American oak ex-bourbon casks, wine barriques, and port pipes. Bottled at 40% ABV and handcrafted by the Scottish distillery’s master distiller, Richard Paterson, the expression draws on some of the rarest aged stocks from the distillery’s reserves. The extended maturation and multi-cask finishing result in a deeply layered profile, with notes shaped by long interaction with oak, alongside rich fruit, spice and subtle sweetness derived from the wine and port casks.
